Nepal Trekking Permit Fee

Normal trekking areas such as Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang region, you can get the permit in Kathmandu or an entry point but you are required to take permit or pay special trekking fees in Kathmandu especially of the restricted or remote area.

For the remote area permit or of particular routes the following are the lists of special trekking permits:

1. Trekking in Manaslu region

USD 70 is charged per person for a week, additional USD  10 per person for each extra day during September to November.

USD 50 is charged per trekker per week from December to August, additional USD  7 per trekker per each extra day.

2. Trekker in Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpo

USD 500 or equivalent foreign currency is charged per person for first 10 days, the extra fee per extra day costs USD50 or equivalent foreign currency.

3. Humla (Simikot-Yari)

It costs USD 50 per person per week or equivalent currency and USD  7 per person per extra day.

4. Kanchanjunga, Lower Dolpa, Gaurishankar, and Lamabagar

US$ 10 or equivalent in charged per person per week for the first four weeks and USD 20 per week thereafter.

5. Nar Phu

USD 95 or equivalent currency is charged per person per week.
