Highlights

Kathmandu Valley Trekking is one of the attractive short trips around Kathmandu city. It is also known as Kathmandu rim trekking. Many visitors in Nepal leave for the mountains far too quickly and never get the opportunity to enjoy what is close hand in the Kathmandu valley. This trip includes an eight-day trek around the hills surrounding the Kathmandu valley.  The trail with superb panoramic views of the Himalaya mountains. The panorama views from Manaslu, Annapurna,  Mt. Everest, Number, and Karyolung. The views are different from each point on the trek Chisapani to Nam Buddha each providing a unique angle and perspective on the Himalayan mountain range in Nepal.

The traveler will also visit the most important religious and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley and walk to the less visited rural areas with colored farmhouses through rice terraces, orange orchards, and forests. For every night of the trek, you stay at the high-quality hotels/ resorts. The glacier adventure company has designed this trekking around the Kathmandu valley route, especially for family groups with children, as it is a leisurely walk in the beautiful area with enough opportunity to understand the local people, their villages, culture, and lifestyle.

Trekking in Nepal

My wife and I have been to Nepal many times. Over the past years Glacier Adventure have provided several treks for us and family members, including Manaslu, Annapurna Base Camp, and Helambu, all of which have been a most enjoyable experience. We can recommend the professional service that Tilak provides and the security one feels when trekking in these magnificent mountains with a guide who is knowlegable and experienced such as Tilak.
