Eine Runde Sache - Nepal Trekking mit Tilak Shresta (Mustang)
Die Trekking Tour mit Glacier Adventure Company und dem Guide Tilak Shresta war ein tolles Erlebnis. Alles war bestens organisiert und man merkt, dass er Spaß an seinem Job hat. Auch wenn die Gegebenheiten Improvisation erforderten, regelte er alles im Hintergrund. Wenn man einen gutgelaunten Profi buchen möchte, dann ist man bei Ihm richtig.

The trekking tour with Glacier Adventure Company and Guide Tilak Shresta was a great experience. Everything was well organized and you can tell he enjoys his job. Even if the circumstances required improvisation, he regulated everything in the background. If you want to book a good-humored professional, then you are right with him.

ABC trek, Awesome!! Highly recommend!!
My first OE experience on a guided trek and I was not disappointed. With Tilak as our guide and Ganesh our porter we had the best 11 day trek ever. Tilak has wealth of knowledge and experience and is always on hand for any questions. His 15years in the business assures you of that, and Tilaks judgement on times to the next destination is fantastic. Very handy info when your legs are tired or the weather is unpredictable. Aside from the amazing scenery you also get a view into the Nepalese culture on this trek and meet some cool people on the way. If you are considering any trekking in Nepal, I would highly recommend you get in contact with Glacier Adventure Company and Tilak. Thanks again Tilak and I wish you the very best for the coming years ahead.

“Great guide and amazing trekking in the mountains of Nepal”
We had a fabulous trek: Annapurna Base Camp 4130m, including Poon Hill. Tilak was our guide. His knowledge of the track, the mountain names and heights was great. He has been a guide over 15 years, so we felt safe and well informed. His English is really good and he us very prompt at replying by email. Ganesh was our porter and he did a great job carrying our pack. I definitely recommend this company for trekking in Nepal. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip.

“Everest View Trek - BEST Decision of my life!!!!”
I decided I wanted to see Everest and my friends thought I was crazy. Another friend actually recommended Glacier Adventure Company to me and after seeing her incredible photos from the trip - I had to see it for myself!.
I travelled with 3 other girlfriends and was a little nervous in the lead up. However, I knew I was about to embark on something great when we were picked up from the airport by the warm and friendly Tilak (owner of the company, himself). We were all welcomed with a marigold garland and from the minute we were picked up we were looked after so well!!
We chose to do the Everest View Trek and boy did we received fantastic value for money. From the minute we landed, all our accommodation and pretty much all of our meals were covered (we never went hungry!) which meant that the only spending money we needed was for personal souvenirs.
After a day of sight-seeing in Kathmandu City we flew to Lukla - a town at the foot of the mountains and made our way up through beautiful sceneries and wonderful little villages. The trek itself was incredible - I knew the pictures were amazing but seeing it first hand was breathtaking and I urge everyone to visit the Himalayas at least once in their life.
Tilak has over 15 years of experience and knows the region like the back of his hand. He was an excellent guide to us and made the trip even more memorable with his knowledge and kindness. Everything was so well organised and we were allowed to travel at our own pace!
I haven't stopped raving about the trip to all my friends and will definitely be back to complete another Trek in Nepal with Glacier Adventure Company!!!!

I have just returned from Everest Base camp Trek with Glacier Adventure Company owned by Mr. Tilak, it was memorable and unforgettable experience I had. My Tilak himself came as a guide for me because I was going alone. I was very happy the whole trek, thanks to Tilak and team and wish them to continue the same service.

“Excellent guides for Trekking in Nepal”
I recently returned from Nepal absolutely buzzing! I have just had a trip of a lifetime. I have travelled many places in my life but this trip was definitely (along with my African trip) the best! I completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Tilak and his team, which took 11 days at a fairly easy-going pace.
What an incredible hike, different scenery everyday! From little mountain villages with Nepalese and Tibetan goods been sold to rhododendron forests in full pink and red bloom, to stunning snow covered mountains. The weather was sensational (apart from one day of rain and one crazy hail storm) hot during the days and cooler at night (April).
Tilak's team were incredibly organised. We paid up front and could not fault what we recieved along the way. Here was I thinking I'd be eating dal for the length of my trip!... Well I was wrong! - The tea houses produced all sorts of different cuisine. The menu was full of delicious options - no one went hungry! The accommodation was always clean, comfortable and hospitable. Transport was always on time and efficient
Tilak's knowledge of the area and different sections of the track was faultless. Even his timing of how long to the next stop were within just a couple of minutes of his estimate!
He has a great sense of humour - as did our strong porters - who carried our gear along the way. Although his business is new his experience in the industry is vast.

“Eine ganz besondere Reise”
Unsere trekking Tour mit Glacier Adventure Company von Mitte Oktober bis Anfang November 2103 war etwas ganz Besonderes. Angefangen vom Empfang am Flughafen, der Aufenthalt im Hotel mit persönlicher Betreuung (Stadtrundfahrt und Besichtigungen, Welcome und Farewell dinner) bis zur individuellen Tour von Lukla nach Gokyo und zurück. Tilak bemüht sich sehr, die Wünsche seiner Kunden zu erfüllen und kümmert sich persönlich darum, dass alles klappt. Unser guide bei der trekking tour und der porter waren ausgeszeichnet und wir haben uns immer sehr gut betreut gefühlt und empfehlen Ihn gerne weiter.
